German women transport a corpse found in the woods near Neunburg vorm Wald to the town cemetery for proper burial. The victims were Polish, Hungarian, and Russian Jews shot near Neunburg while on a death march from Flossenbuerg. Actions like this were part of the Denazification process. This process was an attempt to rid Germany and Austria culture and society of nazi influence and ideology. A part of the process included confronting the public with the evidence of the crimes that were carried out in their area.
