This image may not be used to state or imply ESA endorsement of any company or product Mercury Planetary Orbiter testing. The Mercury Planetary Orbiter (MPO) is one of two orbiters that are part of the BepiColombo mission. The other is the Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter (MMO). The MPO will orbit Mercury at low altitude and study and map the planet's surface. The mission is slated for launch in July 2016.
