Mr. Campbell being re-tained in his former position. Mr. Campbellhas also acquired other business has been vice president of the MinnesotaTitle Insurance & Trust Company for sev-eral years, and in Januaiy, 1901, was electedpresident of the Peoples Bank, of Minne-apolis. He is a staunch Republican; stump-ed the state for Harrison in 1888, and hascontributed forceful articles on party prin-ciples to the North American Review andother standard publications. He is a mem-. lA.\in;i:LL. ber of the Conimen-ial Club, the MiiincafiolisClub, the Northwestern Association of ChiIsi, and other social and business organiza-tions. In October, 1880, he was marjied, atChicago, to Minnie V. Adams, daughter ofHugh Adams, one of Chicagos oldest andmost substantial residents, formerly presi-dent of the Chicago Board of Trade and amember of the large grain tirui of Mc(or-mick, Adams & Co.
