The Blue Angels are the US Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron and perform at air shows worldwide. Their first demonstration was on 25th August 1946 at their home base, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. This photograph was taken at Seattle's Seafair and captures the Angels performing the Line Abreast Loop; 5 Angels flying a loop in perfect line. This is acknowledged as the most difficult maneuver to perform well.
