Auld Kirk Museum in Kirkintilloch , Scotland. the building was built in 1644 and the date stone can still be seen on the south gable wall, it was built to replace the older 12 centuary church of St Ninian. The church remained in use until 1941 when it was taken over by the council after the construction of a larger church in the town, it became the local museum in 1961
