The marina is located in the Prince's Bay section of Staten Island. The name reflects the disagreement over the exact name of the area. Prince's Bay, Princes Bay, Princess Bay are all found. In fact, the PBBA was originally called the Prince's Bay Boatmen's Association in 1934, but was later reincorporated under its current name.
