Part of the village of Chalfont St Peter mains closed as Thames Water are continuing to pump up groundwater and sewage from manholes in the village of Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire. Thames Water have reportedly been there since 2nd January, 2024. After rain at the weekend, yesterday Thames Water were pumping sewage directly into the River Misbourne, a precious chalk stream.
