Fruit, above medium, roundish, oblate, inclined to be conical ; skin, clear white, yellowishwhite when very mature ; dots, light green, obscure; stalk, medium, in large cavity ; calyxclosed in medium, slightly corrugated basin ; fruit hangs well on the tree. Flesh, white ; firm till veryripe, then tender ; quality,second class. Season, August 1st to loth. Adaptation. Test ed at Maple-hurst, Grimsby ; at Simcoe sta-tion, distributed widely byOntario Fruit Growers Associa-tion in 1886, and succeeds every-where.
