I73 He was an elder and a member of the Board ofTrustees of the West Nottingham PresbyterianChurch, and Superintendent of the NottinghamSunday-school. He was liberal and kind to thepoor, and loved and honored by all who knew him. He owned the large farm near Hilamans Tavernat Chrome Post Office.
