A Prussian officer's sword,with "Berlin" blade,circa 1750 Strong,slightly spotted blade with flattened central ridge. On the ricasso and on the central ridge brass inlays on both sides,each with eagle mark and manufacturer's inscription "Berlin" inbetween triangle marks. In the brass hilt of an infantry sabre with remnants of the old silver plating. Later leather scabbard with brass fittings,the locket reinforced by means of wooden insertions. Length 99 cm.
