Private First Class Arthur L. Moore, Platoon 3203, India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, stands at parade rest prior to graduation at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Nov. 6. Moore is a Chicago native and was recruited out of Recruiting Station Riverfall. Today, all males recruited from west of the Mississippi are trained at MCRD San Diego. The depot is responsible for training more than 16,000 recruits annually.
