The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, the SAS Hotel, designed by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. on Vesterbrogade, central Copenhagen, Denmark. The railway cutting to the Copenhagen Central Station just visible in the bottom. The Freedom Column (Frihedsstøtten) to the left of the hotel. The 20 meter tall obelisque was erected commemorating the peasant reforms in 1788 that led to the abolition of adscription. One of Copenhagen's historic gallows was also once situated nearby.
