Asters are selling at low prices, even fancies not bringing any price. - Pink roses arc especially plentiful. White are not so numerous but are plenty enough to go around. St. Louis will furnish her share of the convention crowd. NOTES. .The St. Louis Florists' Club met last Thursday, .35 members being present. Robert J. Windier in the chair. The following officers were elected: F. H. Weber, president; Charlie Young, vice-president; J. J. Beneke, secre- tary; Will C. Smith, treasurer. Trus- tees are: Wm. Osseck, three years; John Connon, two years. The follow- ing new members were elected: Fred Pape. A. Gumz, Frank Windier, Max Herzog, L. Baumann, Gus Eggling, Charlie FuUgraff. Arthur Waldman will confine him - self to his work at the greenhouses at Pine Lawn, Mo. His retail store will now be conducted by his daugh ter. Miss Matilda Waldman. This young lady is well known in the trade and we wish her success. Theodore Miller will open his new flower store at Hamilton and Delmar avenues early in September.
