The towns of Oltenita and Tutrakan in Romania are on opposite sides of the River Danube. ' a coloured drawing made by Major Dixon, from whom it was obligingly brought by the Earl of Carlisle as a present to Lord Dudley Coutts Stuart, ; who has kindly placed this interesting picture at our disposal.
