A wheellock carbine, Italy or France circa 1620. Smooth barrel with smooth bore in mm calibre, dovetailed sights. Next to the breech marked "ZR" (cf. Stöckel, no. 8172, p. 1096). The lock has an external wheel as well as a finely cut spring and mountings. Walnut full stock with iron furniture. On the opposite side of the lock the base of a broken off belt hook.
