Whether their propagation willbe continued, time alone will this sub-variety is purely a manu-factured one, the Leghorn elementin it can be but small, and though Iam well aware that the combination ofblack and white produces a slate color,the blue of this variety cannot beprocured from that amalgamationalone, and therefore it will not besurprising if more or less lacing dis-plays itself in the near future. It may be considered that I havetreated the subject of this paper froma too pessimistic point of view, butI must point out that that view has Farm-Poultry.
