Bukit Lawang, Sumatra, Indonesia. 19th April 2014. A man carries a stack of inner tubes through Bukit Lawang to the top of the river. A popular tourist resort, the river runs along the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park, one of the the last remaining strongholds for several Critically Endangered (IUCN) species, including the Sumatran orangutan, tiger, elephant and rhino. Orangutans have even been seen hijacking the tubes and riding the river alongside tourists. Credit: Andrew Walmsley/Alamy Live News
