Cw 7924 70813 crossing the being rebuilt Strand Road level crossing Colas Rails diesel locomotive 70813 crossing Strand Road in Preston on The train it is heading is the empty bitumen tankers on the way back to the oil refinery at Lindsey on Humberside from the industrial estate on the former docks at Preston. The train is leaving earlier than timetabled at hrs, it was timetabled to leave at , and is running under headcode or train reporting number 6E32. At this time work has been going on since the 16th of February 2022 to replace the rails and the road surface of the level crossing here on Strand Road. There has been three train loads of bitumen delivered this week and then the plan is to close the line again from 21st to 30th March to complete the work.
