Saperda i black, the pronotum and elytra carmine-colomed, the former with two black spots; the head elongatedin front into a short thick rostrum ; antenuse short, thick, the 5th and following joints seri-ated ; pronotum conical,tmncated, convex, the sides unarmed ; elyti-a convex, rounded at the tips ; the disc mth elevated longitudinal lines;legs short and simple.
