Ecuadorean children play table football in Pesillo, a small village in the mountains of Ecuador, 26 June 2010. Table football, also known as Foosball or Futbolin (in Latin America), is a table-top game. Human players use figures mounted on rotating bars to kick the small plastic ball into the opposing goal. Each team of 1 or 2 human players controls 4 rows on its side of the table. The game ends when one team scores a predetermined number of goals. In 2002, the International Table Soccer Federation (ITSF) was established to promote the sport of table football.
