Of the same type of growth and same size pods as Allen's First and Best but the pods are not as fine in flavor: the vines grow from twenty to thirty inches in height, bear- ing well filled medium sized pods: the dried seed are of a bluish color; the most popular variety with canners everywhere. It matures prac- tically the entire crop at one time, so that at most, only two pickings are required.
