An English flintlock shotgun of the Hudson Bay Company, circa 1800 Smooth two-stage barrel in calibre 16 mm, octagonal then round. Strong flintlock, lock plate signed "BARNETT LONDON". Smooth wooden full stock with brass mountings, butt richly decorated with metal studs. Original ramrod with brass tip. Iron parts with strong rust film, repair spot in lock area of stock, some cracks, blemishes and worm holes. Length 170 cm.
