Army Spc. Jessie Wentworth, of Hesperia, Calif., works on a disassembling a CH-47 Chinook engine aided by Afghan counterparts. Wentworth's unit, the 122nd Aviation Support Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, began a partnership, June 6, with the Afghan Ministry of the Interior's Special Missions Wing. The SMW runs drug interdiction operations out of Kabul, and has joined with 82nd CAB mechanics to share maintenance and safety techniques.
