St Oswald's church stands at the top of Lythe Bank, Lythe, in North Yorkshire near to Whitby


St Oswald's dates back as far as the 15th Century, though it has seen several changes in the 18th and 19th centuries, and the current configuration dates to around 1911. It contains an internationally renowned collection of Anglo-Scandinavian carved stones.
