PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 24, 2012) The amphibious transport dock ship USS Denver (LPD 9), far left, pulls alongside of Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler ship USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199) to conduct a dual replenishment at sea with the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Tippecanoe performed a RAS with both ships while underway. Bonhomme Richard, commanded by Capt. Daniel Dusek, is the lead ship of the only forward-deployed amphibious ready group.
