Punting on the Avon is one of the iconic tourist attractions in Christchurch. Like punting at Oxford and Cambridge in England, our punting experience uses flat-bottomed boats with no keel, pushed by a pole. The punter stands on a platform at the end. The passengers sit low down, although high seats can be installed for your comfort and convenience.
