NORFOLK (June 5, 2017) Ship's Serviceman 3rd Class Jennifer White serves the ship's store's first customer, Seaman Darylle Olaires, after reopening the store aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). A portion of the store's profits are donated directly back to Wasp's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR). Wasp is currently undergoing a planned incremental availability maintenance period at BAE systems Naval Shipyard while making preparations for its upcoming homeport shift to Sasebo, Japan.
