MANAMA, Bahrain (March 16, 2017) Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael Deane, a maritime enforcement specialist from Molalla, Oregon, dressed in Red Man attire engages with members of the Egyptian military on visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) tactics. The Patrol Force Southwest Asia (PATFORSWA)-led VBSS exercise with Jordanian and Egyptian navies served to strengthen long-term relationships and enhance mutual capabilities to ensure the free flow of commerce.
