Leaves ovate to oblong-lanceolate, or narrower, acumi- nate at the apex, usually dentate, narrowed or cuneate at the base, z'-s' long, i'-ii' wide, usually tapering into a conspicuous petiole; bracts mi- nute, acute or acuminate; calyx-teeth triangular- subulate, herbaceous, one-half as long as the tube or more; corolla longer than the calyx; rudimentary posterior stamens oval or oblong; nutlets much shorter than the calyx.
