King, Professor of economics at New York University, told the President's fact finding commission today that the average wages of railroad employees, measured in terms of buying power, increased 37 percent since 1929. He added, hourly earnings of railroad men have increased 15 percent while cost of living has fallen 16 percent in the same time, 10/4/38
