Deformity following dislocated finger. Fixed flexion deformity of the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint of the little finger of a 21-year-old man a year after he injured and dislocated his finger while playing football as a goalkeeper. Joint dislocation (luxation) occurs when an injury forces the bones of a joint apart. It is treated by resetting the joint to its original position.
