Mummers' plays are folk plays traditionally taking place in the street by all male groups known as mummers, guisers, rhymers, pace-eggers, soulers, tipteerers, wrenboys, and galoshins) depending on the region and the time of year the performance takes place. Sword dancing sometimes accompany the activities. In this example the mummer is wearing a giant mask.
