An eave on the exterior of Humayan's Tomb. Humayan's tomb was commissioned by Hamida Banu Begam (popularly known as Haji Bagam) in 1562, after Mughal emperor Hamayun died in 1556. The tomb is renowned for being the first major example of Mughal architecture. Several members of the dynasty are buried in the complex.
