NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (Feb. 2, 2019) British Royal Marine Protection Team, 42 Commando, embarked the Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship Cardigan Bay (L3009) to demonstrate their capabilities during close quarters battle training with Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team Central Command (FASTCENT) Marines to enhance cooperation, mutual capabilities and interoperability between the two partner nations. FASTCENT provides expeditionary anti-terrorism and security forces to embassies, consulates and other vital national assets throughout the Central Command area of responsibility.
