D, the wholesaler was compelled to propor- tion his production. Eoses were also scarce. The quality was exceptionally fine. Yellow daisies were also good and were being received with long stems. Orchids were again seen on the market, not having made much of an appear- ance since Easter. Sweet peas were also arriving in fair quantities, but the demand practically took the supply. The quality was fairly good. Violets were also on the market in limited quantities and moved fairly well. As the bulbous stock was about cleaned up, there was a tendency toward in- creased demand for carnations, roses, yellow daisies, etc. Lily of the valley was also coming in daily and moving rapidly. Easter and calla lilies were also on the market and were bringing fair prices. The quality was exception- ally good. During last week the florists were busy taking care of some of the largest weddings of the season and, judging by reports, there will be some good weddings all through the month of Ap
