A German knightly thrusting sword, circa 1400 Narrow double-edged blade of diamond section. The quillons ends are angled slightly towards the blade. Sturdy, slightly tapered tang, the disc pommel with flat hub offset on both sides. Length cm. Early type of sword designed specifically for thrusting.
