NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (January 30, 2019) Soldiers assigned to the 1st Armored Division and 1109th Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group load an AH-60 Apache helicopter onto a C-5 aircraft during Intermodal operations. Intermodal operations combine sea and air transportation to reduce cargo handling, improve security, minimize damage and allow quicker transportation.
