This image may not be used to state or imply ESA endorsement of any company or product Terby Crater, Mars Express colour-coded elevation model. This area shows part of a second impact crater in the northern part of Terby Crater. Terby Crater is located at the northern edge of the Hellas Planitia impact basin in the southern hemisphere of Mars. The Terby Crater region includes sediments being studied to show the past role of water on the surface of Mars. The Digital Terrain Model (DTM) colour codes elevations: purple (lowest) through blue, green, yellow and red to white (highest). Data obtained by the High-Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on Mars Express, on 13 April 2007 during orbit 4199. The European Space Agency's Mars Express has been orbiting Mars since December 2003.
