The Botataung Pagoda is located near the Rangoon river front and it's gold stupa is said to contain a strand of the Buddha's hair. The pagoda was bombed in WWII by the allies and rebuilt with a hollow stupa or dome. The temple is not as busy as other Yangon temples and has open relaxed air
