Restoration of Greenham Common: Sign saying "Pond for Dogs: Green Zone: Dog Friendly Area"; with dog walkers and decommissioned cruise missile silos in background. -- This flat area covered with ponds, heather and public footpaths used to be the runway of RAF Greenham Common. Over a million tonnes of concrete and tarmac were broken up, removed and recycled to restore Greenham Common for public use and enjoyment.
