Seal of Edward III, Reverse of seal Impression of the Seventh Seal of King Edward III. The king in a coat of mail, heraldic surcoat and helmet surmounted by his crest, a crowned lion. He holds a chained broadsword in his left hand, and a shield of arms in his horse is galloping, with heraldic trappings and plume. Border with carved and cusped decoration. From a royal licence relating to the manors of Tumby and Tattershall, co. Linc. 1364 Originally published in England; 1364.
