Detail of some of the decoration above the south door in the 1520 porch . Small panels of intricate tracery designs surround a canopied niche, possibly depicting the Triple Crown, contains a throned "God in Majesty supporting the Crucified Christ". On a square frame/architrave below niche and above the door is a horizontal line of 7 angels; the middle one supports a winged heart and the others carry boxes or books are described by the church leaflet as representing the Seven Sacraments: the rites of baptism, confirmation, the Eucharist, penance, anointing of the sick, ordination, & matrimony.
