The star clusters Messier 46 (left) and Messier 47 (right) in Puppis, in a wide-field telephoto image simulating the feld of view of binoculars. The clusters NGC 2423 (above M47) and Mel71 (top) are also in the frame. The little planetary NGC 2438 embedded in M46 just shows up as a green dot. This is a stack of 12 x 2-minute tracked but unguided exposures with the Canon RF70-200mm lens at 200mm and f/4 with the stock Canon R5 at ISO 1600. Taken from home Feb 10, 2023.
