Commercial Press publishes a picture of members of its trade union's first group of the executive committee. The Commercial Press was the first modern publication organization in China. The third from the left is in the front row in Chen Yun. Chen Yun was one of the most influential leaders of the People's Republic of China during the 1980s and 1990s and one of the major policymakers for the Reform and opening up, alongside Deng Xiaoping.
