Guillory, recruit division commander of Division 817, explains the importance of deck-log accuracy and legibility to a recruit watch-stander on at Recruit Training Command (RTC). The recruit deck-log is an important training aid that not only records divisional activities, but also teaches recruits attention to detail. Approximately 30,000-40,000 recruits graduate annually from RTC. (
