WESTERN PACIFIC (May 15, 2017) Hull Maintenance Technician Fireman Adam Welkovich, from Stamford, Connecticut, places a box patch over a simulated hole in the bulkhead during a flooding drill aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112). The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
