Cnlttire.—While it is one of the easiest of all flowers to cultivate, it by no means follows that it needs no attention. It fact, no flower will give such generous response to good culti- il di: ? vation. Deep and thorough stirring of the £arly growth of the plant is , but later in the season frequent surface cultivation only, should be given.
