Sunlight through window grid

An empty room in the House of Al Suhaymi, Cairo has sunlight coming through the iron bars on the window and the shadow is clearly outlined on the crumbling floor. Bright light from outside this empty concrete and block floor room creates a grid on the floor from the shadow of the iron bar grid on the glassless window. A checkered patter is cast on this crumbling floor and is caused by the outside light shining through this window grid.
