New Zealand - 10 May 2012; Hundertwasser's famed public toilets are located in Kawakawa on New Zealand's North Island. They are probably the only such facility to have become an international tourist attraction! The toilets were actually the final project of the eccentric and altogether interesting world-famous Austrian artist , Friedeensreich Hundertwasser. Opened in 1999, they remain open for tourists, caught-short passer-by and locals. Nice.
