150811-N-KR961-048 PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 11, 2015) – Sailors, assigned to the littoral combat ship USS Coronado (LCS 4), lower an 11-meter rigid-hull-inflatable boat (RHIB) to test the ships’ twin-boom-extensible crane (TBEC) and surface-tow cradle (STC). Coronado conducted predeployment assessment and evaluation on the performance of shipboard equipment during a weeklong underway off the coast of California.
